Who has an Elf on the shelf in their lives?
We were super excited to get one when Target came to Canada and brought with it the elves to purchase.
These days they are plentiful anywhere in Canada, we purchased a second one, to have a boy and girl elf, but our then puppy ate her!
In fact there are all kinds of knock offs at the dollar stores that 1000% in my opinion are great!
Our original Elf now is retired and sits in a crate box I display every year with special ornaments, mostly ceramic ones the kids made over the years in school.
He was a hoot to have for the years we were able to do it, from deciding how to present him on his arrival for the year, his daily antics to make the kids laugh, to his departure letter.
I created this svg for anyone who happens to have a cricut and needs a quick card to be used on your elf’s arrival, departure or even just to say hi through the season.
It also makes a great craft to be made by your elf, or elf humans!
