We have had a few rounds of Pikachu costumes amoung our kids for Halloween
Our oldest son when he was 7 was Ash, I made the costume and pre Cricut era I hand painted an upcycled hat for his costume
Our daughter was a Powerpuff girl, handmade entirely of upcycled and handmade pieces too.
I really should make a few Powerpuff inspired items.
