The season has managed to pass me by just as quickly and regrettably as the year.
I’ve been recovering from a major health scare, health struggles and ultimately, a total hysterectomy, however it’s a combination of things keeping me from blogging this year.
I wanted to pop in and share some of the spooky season DIYS that have helped me keep smiling.
This wreath is a grapevine wreath I found thrifting some time ago, it’s been redone a few times but this year really pops with spray painting it teal and my newly learned skill of adding wooden signs with zip ties, 3 words for anyone venturing out to learn, ZIP TIE MOUNTS.
They are self adhesive but also the ones we got have a hole for a screw, 100% use a screw.
My bow making skills need a lot of practice!

This black wreath too has been redone over the years, I picked it up on clearance a good 10 years ago for $3!!, it is huge!
I’m loving the sign and wooden skull addition but have decided it needs a bit more orange sparkle added next year.
THE SKELETON HANDS ARE SALAD TONGS FROM DOLLAR TREE AND HAVE BEEN ON THIS WREATH FOR A FEW YEARS AND COUNTING.
The stand it’s displayed on was made from fence boards from my childhood home, left with the original paint, it acts as a wreath stand by our front door.

And finally a little collage of some if this year’s yard display

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
