Dollar Tree Snowman Wreath

Mr D has the same advice for me when it comes to craft supplies or holiday items, GET IT WHEN YOU SEE IT

Early in the year I took his advice and in January as the Dollar Tree put out fairy garden products I purchased all I wanted right then and there.

In late summer they had grapevine wreaths I kept meaning to get, but guess what, they sold out and so far no more stock,it seems 2020 has brought on shortages everywhere and item demands never seen before, like craft supplies.

I wanted them for inexpensive Halloween and Christmas wreaths,I ended up picking up 2 small ones for something Halloween but ideas never came to me so they became this snowman wreath instead.

I zip tied the 2 together then I lightly brushed outdoor white paint on them.

The hat is cut from scrapwood and screwed through the wreath and into the hat.

To finish him I tied scraps of fabric and some crocheted chains to the middle ,covering up the ties and creating a rag garland scraf.

An eyelet hook or drilled hole can be added to the hat for a hanging ribbon.

Happy mistakes, or in my case not taking Mr Ds advice turned into this adorable snowman, but I think from now on, it shall be, get it when I see it !
