BEBE YODA

Who watches The Mandalorian on Disney Plus?, not this girl! I am not a huge Disney fan, of course I have always loved watching their movies with the kids but as a child myself nope, and as a mom of older kids now, still nope.

Hubz is a huge kid at heart, don’t get me wrong I am a huge kid at heart as well, just not a Disney kid. We subscribed to Disney Plus back in November, the conversation went like this

Hubz: OH DISNEY PLUS HAS LAUNCHED

Me: NOPE, NO, UH UH, We have Netflix -Prime- Cable- and tons of DVDS

YOUNGEST WALKS INTO THE ROOM: IT HAS GOOD LUCK CHARLEY ON IT!

Me: SIGH!

Tell me I am not alone in being a sucker for anything that makes my grown up children “little” again, if he wants to re watch Good Luck Charley who am I to say no?

Hubz of course loves that all of The Simpson is on there as well since Disney bought out FOX, just like they acquired the Star Wars Empire.

I don’t do Star Wars either, I did fall in love with JAR JAR in the 90’s film, but that’s all I can tell you, his name and what he looks like lol.

Hubz is all about The Mandalorian and he told me about this baby Yoda, and if you look around everyone is crazy for the bebe.

I set out to make hubz a Baby Yoda ornament, which turned into a magnet for now and an ornament it shall be made into next Christmas, I spent a few days drafting out the pattern to sew up with plastic canvas, I made it, shared it with my Plastic Canvas group and as Murphy’s law goes, as soon as I hit upload I noticed a mistake in the finished project and pattern I had shared.

Oh well I caught it, and I fixed it, the thing about DIY is the mistakes, if you cant roll with them and accept them DIY is not for you lol.

HERE IS MY ORIGINAL, can you spot anything wrong? hubz could’nt at first and I am told most people will never see little mistakes, but I know and it drives me bonkers, and I’d be mortified if someone did notice.

HERE HE IS FIXED

THE TOPS OF HIS COLLAR PIECES ARE TOO SHORT IN THE ORIGINAL, THEY DON’T EXTEND PAST HIS FACE LIKE THEY SHOULD.

His collar tops are worked separate and hot glued on, thank the universe the craft God’s were on my side and I was able to pull the wrong ones off and glue the new ones on.

  1. My stepson gave us his login for his Disney plus. I looked through it and turned it off. I’m glad because my husband wanted to buy it. I don’t like it. I’ve never been a Disney fan, except for Dumbo. 😊 Your Baby Yoda is adorable!!!

  2. I never would have noticed if you hadn’t broken it down. Haha. That’s excellent work! Yeah, I’ve never been a big Disney person either. They’re okay but I’m not into worshipping them. Haha. Great post!

  3. I loved the princess movies when I was a little girl like Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping beauty. I also loved Bambi and Lady and the Tramp, so cute. I don’t like New Disney though. I still haven’t seen that show and my kids keep trying to get me to watch it. Your baby Yoda is so cute, I bet your husband loves it.
