I can’t say I was never a cookie cutter human, things like new year, new me has been part of my story, but mostly I have stayed true to myself and approached a new year with the same attitude I have had most of my life, midnight strikes and its just another day, another notch in my my life’s headboard, another entry in my journal, hopefully another day I see the sun set.
What does this new year and new decade bring for me?, my virtual hope board goes like this:
BETTER HEALTH FOR MYSELF
GOOD HEALTH FOR MY LOVED ONES
STILL HAVING MOST IF NOT ALL MY FUR BABIES IN MY LIFE
MARRIAGES AMOUNG MY CHILDREN, IN THE DECADE HOPEFULLY ALL 4
RECONNECTING WITH MY HUBZ, I don’t know about anyone else but for us raising four children has been number one, as individuals and as a couple is the grey area when being parents.
FINDING MYSELF AGAIN, even if I have to accept the damage my health has done to my personality I am determined to find that girl long lost in the cracked mirror I have been glancing into.
And finally as simple as it seems, in the next decade I hope to see 2030, I will be 53 at the strike of midnight January 1 2030, I hope 45 and 50 will be a big celebration.
My kids will be 35, 33,30 and 24 in 2030.
Here’s to linking back to this post on that very night!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
Thank you every single one of you who have followed me, left comments, featured me on your sites, pinned my posts, or simply popped in for a looky loo.
You helped end the past decade on a good note, which started off hard.
I was diagnosed early in the decade, started the decade and new life journey without my dad, lost 3 senior pets, the last being just this year, had our lower floors completly water damaged, said goodbye to our summer home, lost people we knew, had many health issues in our home and extended family’s homes, but ended it better then I ever imagined.
Thank you to my kids and hubz who encouraged this crazy ride I call blogging, and all my creating.
See you all soon with new posts!
