I had intended to make similar houses as I did for my Halloween village, you can see those HERE, but I went in a different direction.
These were cut from 2x4s from a pallet, sanded, then sealed with POLY ACRYLIC SEALER in matte.
More use of bits and pieces of the 2x4s can be seen HERE
I used plastic canvas stitched in white for the snowy roofs, faux snow sheets, foam, cardboard, or even painting them white (before you seal them) will work for the roofs.
The wreaths are crocheted shower curtain rings, pattern HERE, but use what you are comfortable with.
Twisted pieces of pipe cleaner work or up cycle old artificial tree branches (I may or may not have a garbage bag filled with one lol) even simply cut a cardboard wreath and paint it, or some felt.
I hot glued my wreaths on, but also made the hangers small and nailed a little finishing nail through it for the illusion it is hanging. The little snowflakes are from the Dollar Tree ( 25 pk)
FEATURED AT THESE LINK PARTIES
So creative. I really like how you made the roofs for the houses. You have been busy. I still need to finish decorating our house.
