If you had a chance to see the post I did on scrap wood Christmas blocks, you may remember seeing this vintage Rubbermaid tiered lazy susan in avocado I scored for $2.
I continued with making scrap blocks and a few ended up being the rustic in my vintage rustic display.
Click HERE for the plastic canvas snowflake pattern.
Click HERE for the tree pattern, I omitted the trunk part on the canvas part, and instead tacky glued a strip of burlap on the block before gluing down my finished tree.
I love snowmen but I find myself loving plain snowmen over anything too colourful or detailed.
For the snowman I printed my snowman shape I used in card making HERE it fits perfectly on a 2×4 wood block.
There is more patterns HERE, for cards, a few need to be reduced slightly to fit on a 2×4 wood block.
Cut one from cereal box cardboard, gave it a light coat of white paint then sanded it. Tied on a thin scrap of fabric.
I chose to leave him faceless for a more minimal look too, adding a fabric strip as a scarf.
The trees are from dollar tree.
The cute snowmen birdhouses are a garage sale find from the summer for pennies, not really pennies haha as Canada got rid of pennies a few years back

Your snowmen are so cute. AI love the folk art style of your work too. I have always collected folkart. You should sell these, they were perfect for your lazy susan. I am still looking for one of those. I suppose I could buy one online but I like the challenge of finding one old and cheap I guess.
