I found a 12 pack of these at the local thrift store for 99 cents, it was originally marked $2 from the dollar store ( dollarama my Canadian friends)
I knew exactly what I would do with them
Turn them into these little wreath ornaments
The bow is made from ribbon I found at the dollar tree and the snowflakes are from there as well.
I crocheted around these and you can print my pattern HERE
If you don’t crochet you can wrap pipe cleaners around them our thick wool, even up-cyle old fake tree branches by wrapping the stems around these hooks.

A funny story, as I was browsing the dollar tree for crafty things, yes Christmas crafts in September lol, I ran into a nice older lady who had her cart FULL of all things Christmas crafts, we got to chatting, she said to me have you ever heard of the pinterest, haha HAVE I EVER! we joked about our crafty addictions and then parted ways.
I ran into her in the cash line, she was 1 person behind me, I showed her my ribbon find and asked if she had saw them, the cashier and I directed her to them and as I was leaving I saw her heading back to cash, lifting her handful of these ribbons, to show me, in a sort of crafting victory!
Glad to have chatted with her and helped spread cheap crafting joy and also participating in the dying art of talking to a stranger.

That is always nice when we run into someone that loves the same things we do. Love the wreaths, they are so cute. You might be getting this message twice, accidentally hit the wrong button earlier. Anyway, that is a lot of ribbon for a dollar, bet they sold out for sure.

Only.see it once 🙂 I kept forgetting to look when I popped in to grab more in different colours. They had a black and white pack too. I agree pron sold out…dont think regular stock item. Might pop in this weekend, had my iron infusion today so we shall see how I feel, I need some.bottle brush trees though.
