NON CANDY TREATS

In September I shared my spray painted cake pan I will be using as my teal project pumpkin.

Today is national I love yarn day and these little monsters & gnomes work up quickly and are great yarn stash busters, they will be done in plenty of time to have available for children with allergies on Halloween.

Please note there are parts that can come loose and cause a chocking hazard,as the eyes and noses are hot glued on, not to be used as a toy for young children.

Are great hung on a tree,a door knob or wall as well.

You can also hot glue a magnet to the back.

I will be giving out pencils and these. My first year doing this so we shall see how it goes, I may have gone a little overboard lol.

  1. I always miss national yarn day and I am a yarn craft fanatic. Love the gnomes. I made a bunch of my Swedish gnomes this week, getting in the holiday mood. I also like how you have non sweets to give out as well as your adorable crafts. I have little used toys I clean and sanitize then tie them onto sucker ghost. The kids are so cute when they look down into the basket searching out a prize.

      • They have these really cute sock gnomes on YouTube that everyone makes for Christmas. They use those fuzzy slipper socks and add rice or plastic pellets to weight them down then tie the top off and cut. Then they add a Santa hat. I don’t know of any sites that I can remember but if you do a search I am sure you will come up with a lot of them.
