Over the summer I did some “junk” journals with my nieces, everyone has their own version of junk journaling and I am sure our journals did not really fit in the category.
We had so much fun however creating journals with artwork we did and using stickers and such to embellish them, half junk journaling half scrap-booking, what I like to call creative journals/diary/planner.
September came, summer was over and they headed back to school but I still wanted to continue with the journaling. One thing led to another, I found some good gel pens at a local dollar store and I picked up a notebook their as well and started jotting down my to do lists, my buckets lists etc. for Fall & Halloween. Added stickers and such too.
Then I took some free colouring pages online and made some note pads, you can see them here ( Christmas ones will be up in November for printing) another way to use my pens and to do some adult colouring. Instead of tossing the used notepads I cut away the coloured pictures and glued them into my journal. (can not lie I tossed a few before I thought of this idea! the vampire one is still in use but will be cut and glued in as well)
I also thought after, the entire note pad folded up and glued in would be an idea as well, nothing like looking back in a few years at your weekly shopping lists lol.
One thing we did in the summer that I carried over to Fall also, was temperature graphs ( I call them graphs lol)
In the summer we had a shell divided into 30 and 31 sections, for Fall I did leaves and now for November December I am doing Christmas light bulbs.
Thursday is November 1st, Can you believe it?
We are in Canada so I have included the best conversion I can for Fahrenheit as well as blank ones where you can add your own temperatures and choice of colours.
I took the finished Fall graphs and folded the page into quarters and glued them into my journal.
Click on print out you’d like, once it opens in a new window save and then print, they are a full sheet size.
